She’ll have a name soon. Probably. At least, if I keep drawing her, which I think I will because I like her.
Also, that’s far too much potassium for one person. Doesn’t she know it’s slightly radioactive?!
I drew this for you guys. Not because you asked for it, but because I knew you needed it.
What’s that? Are you implying I drew this for myself? How dare you. I’ve spent all evening wearing Bananaman pyjamas, and now I don’t know how to take them off. They sounded like a good idea at the time, but now I’m in a nightwear nightmare.
Where’s Slippy? He died. In every level.
Sketch done for this week’s Super Sketch Squad theme
I really wish the Wu Sisters hadn’t been cut from the first Kung Fu Panda film, I would have loved to have seen them in 3D. They finally got some screen time in the latest Kung Fu Panda short “The Secrets of the Masters”, albeit in 2D. Still, it was cool to see them animated, and hopefully they can make a return in the future as I think they still have a lot of potential left in them.
Anyhoo, here’s a sketch of Su Wu, the main sister of the three. I’ll try and get this coloured up sometime, although I haven’t decided on the rendering style just yet.
I’ll tell you one thing, though, they’re a pain in the arse to sketch properly!
Pixar - That’s the latest Super Sketch Squad theme, so here’s Mike Wazowski, from Monsters Inc!
Painted this one on my iPhone using the ‘Colors’ app. Took about 1.5 hours I think.
I rarely ever use Sketchbook Pro but I thought I’d give it another go this evening to see if I can get the hang of it. The transition between pressure levels (especially on the lighter end of the scale) are pretty noticeable compared to other programs I’ve drawn in, but I did enjoy the “roughness” I got from having imperfect lines. I definitely couldn’t use it for clean artwork, but for rough sketching and scribbles it’s pretty fun.
