Sorry for the lack of updates, my arms fell off and they’ve only just been re-attached via the gift of chewing gum.
Here’s a creepy Halloween picture, although it’s more creepy in the same way a paedophile is creepy..
Give him a kiss!
Everything was fine until he started thinking about it too hard..
Another iPad doodle
Holy crap, a new post! Okay, so it’s only a lunchtime iPad doodle, but it’s still better than nothing.
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been all this time, well, I was sick and it wasn’t terribly fun, either. Nothing super bad, but it lasted long enough to screw up daily routines and my normal drawing/painting habits. Definitely glad to be getting back on track with this stuff, I was starting to worry that it’d never happen!
Oh, and I can safely confirm that getting 20+ mouth ulcers at once is not fun, and it will also cause you to lose about 20lbs from the awesome fact you CANNOT EAT ANYTHING.
Okay, I’m done!
Creating a page on Facebook for yourself feels incredibly narcissistic. However, I’ve never felt that when looking at other people’s pages, so it’s probably just Mark Zuckerberg casting spells on me again. Regardless of Zuckerbergs evil intent, it is another place to share my art, and so I should probably make good use of it.
If you like it, please consider hitting that Like button so that I can feed my imaginary children. Their favourite meal just so happens to be self-satisfaction! Mmmm!
Coco sketch recycling complete!
I’m looking for more artists to follow, figured you guys and gals might have some cool links?!
Just recycling a coco sketch for some painting practice. Trying out yet another reverse-engineered method of painting, but I’m mainly interested in playing with the colours more than anything. This is also the first thing I’ve started painting in the Photoshop CS6 beta, and also the first thing I’ve painted on my new IPS monitor. Hopefully the colours look okay on everyone else’s screen.
I’ll finish this later, but for now, SLEEP.
“The Holy Anvil of Antioch” - Another card for the upcoming Jak & Poi iPhone game.
Painted in Photoshop CS5
Trying out the latest version (1.6) of the Procreate painting app. They’ve done an amazing job with it, and I can’t wait to try out the supported pressure sensitive stylus when it becomes available later in the year.
If you have an iPad and you want to try painting with it, I’d definitely recommend checking Procreate out. I’ve tried a lot of painting apps, and this one definitely wins in speed and features.
Sharpened and level adjustments done in Photoshop
Still trying to think up a name for my new monkey girl, anyone got any suggestions?
